Jesse Plemons is bummed. His bees aren't reproducing. He blames the head of a mega drug producer played by Emma Stone. In Bugonia, Plemons and his brother kidnap Stone, torture her, and she rises to the occasion arguing them out of it. Is Emma Stone really an alien from outer space, intent on destroying the world? Don't answer that question. Some call Bugonia a black comedy. I call it a chore.
