Michelle Pfeiffer stars as a latter day R rated "Auntie Mame" in French Exit. The now widowed trophy wife of a much older man vows to spend all his money before she dies. The plot thickens as she spends it all, moves to Paris, and drags her bewildered son Lucas Hedges with her. Now living in her friends Paris apartment, the cast reacts to events sometimes funny but more often annoying. Michelle Pfeiffer retains her amazing charisma, but sometimes quirky isn't quite enough. 2 Stars.
