Oscar Thoughts


The great New York Times film critic A.O. Scott makes some interesting points about the Oscars in the Sunday January 4, 2015 edition. He reminds us the Academy likes socially relevant themes - which bodes well for “Selma, as well as movies about entertainment - which bodes well for “Birdman," and movies that attract a big audience – which puts a spotlight on “Gone Girl.” So what about “Boyhood,” which fits no category?
